Sweet and Sour Meatballs

1 lb ground turkey
½ c fresh breadcrumbs
½ c chopped pistachios
¼ c minced onion
1 egg beaten
Dash salt
1 cup Sweet and Sour sauce
¼ c chopped pistachios

Combine turkey, breadcrumbs, pistachios, onion, egg and salt. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400° F for 15 minutes, or until cooked. Stir in Sweet and Sour sauce; heat thoroughly. Garnish with pistachios.Yield: 5 doz. appetizer meatballs.

Sweet and Sour Sauce: Combine ¾ c pineapple juice, 2 tbsp packed brown sugar, 2 tbsp cider vinegar, 4 tsp cornstarch and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Cook, stirring until thickened.
